How to help
ARCHELON's CHELONOPAREA
The Young Club of ARCHELON is addressed
to all (greek speaking)
young boys and girls, between 8 to 18 years old who are
interested in the protection of the environment.
CHELONOPAREA believes that only if young
people become aware of the serious environmental issues
in the planet and specifically in Mediterranean , there
is hope to prevent the worst scenario for the environment.
As a member of CHELONOPAREA you will
make friends, you learn about the environment, the animals,
the reptiles, the fish, plants and generally
about the natural habitat. You actually help to make earth
a better place to live.
Members of CHELONOPAREA receive the newsletter
of CHELONOPAREA twice per year and they take
information, take part in games and contests and get many
other interesting ideas concerning the environment.
The Young Club of ARCHELON issues once per
year a special educational material for teachers and children's
group leaders with ideas with environmental activities, games,
handiworks, book presentations etc.
Members of CHELONOPAREA can participate
in family volunteering and to the child camping in the
nesting beaches of Lakonikos Bay. For more information please contact with
