|ANEK LINES support our movement to Western Crete - 23/02/2012|
|Under the sponsorship program, the Crete Shipping Company «ANEK LINES» has offered a discount of the tickets to our Society, facilitating the annual transportation of the ARCHELON executives to the program of Western Crete. This way our work to protect the endangered species of sea turtle Caretta caretta as well as the rich breeding habitats in Western Crete, is significantly reinforced.|
Fortunately other maritime companies have also offered discounts on their services, creating favorable conditions of transportation to the ARCHELON field projects in sight of the economic crisis.
ANEK LINES is one of them and we would like to express our warmest appreciation!
Anek LINES, under the name "Anonymous Crete Shipping Company SA" which is based in Chania, has offered a discount of tickets for its ships, while also including ARCHELON in the company’s annual office calendar for 2012, providing information as well as photographs of the volunteer Papafitsorou Costas, in the month July.
ANEK LINES is a member of the most modern group of shipping companies with pan-European presence and great prestige. Since the birth of the company and the arrival of the first ship, the legendary KYDON, until the studied strategic decisions of the current administration, ANEK LINES works without derogation, with responsibility and consistency developing and improving its reliable fleet, the skilled personnel and the impeccable services provided. And all the above always by giving first priority to the interest of the traveling public which ensures, in long run, the strength of its own share carrier organization.
We wish ANEK LINES, that this New Year shall be the beginning of a series of positive events, successes and progress. Furthermore, we hope that other companies will follow its example, demonstrating that the strong economic crisis affecting all businesses, does not and will not change the philosophy of the Corporate Social Responsibility that they have adopted, thus contributing to the continuation of our work to care for sea turtles all over Greece.
