We’ve known her since 19 June 2007 when she was marked by ARCHELON with tag KA825, after her nesting, in southern Kyparissia Bay. On 14 August 2011 we were notified by Giorgio Cataldini that our turtle was found injured in Italy at the island Sant’ Andrea, close to Gallipoli with a large injury from a propeller at the back of her shell. After several months of treatment at “Turtle Point” in Naples, “Kifissia” was much better and it was decided to be released at the place where it was found injured, on 7 June 2012.
